Here is a clip from the 2014 Gifts for the Homeless...
Please share this post with anyone and everyone. It's a wonderful opportunity to feel the joy of giving.
Don't know what to give that person that has everything? Consider giving the hottest gift of the year, a Nori Lights Bicycle Illumination system and giving someone who's struggling a reason to smile.
We are one family under the stars. And when we take a moment to show someone else that we care, amazing things can happen.
Three years ago, I was inspired to do this after watching this video on Youtube....
Whether you give through this event by purchasing through us this week, or you do it individually through random acts of kindness, we can all do our part in presenting the world to each other at its best.
When you see an opportunity to create a miracle for someone, jump on it. Be that miracle, and you might be surprised at how much that miracle changes your own world as well.
Please share this with everyone.
Happy Holidays.

There are several solutions for installing the Nori Lights on a bike with rim brakes. In the video below, I illustrate how the brake pad can be adjusted to contact the rim a little higher or lower in most cases and open up enough side-rim surface for the Nori Lights Stripes.
Keep in mind, the stripes are only 6 mm (or 1/4 inch) wide. Often times, a brake pad is positioned to contact the center of the side-rim. Adjusting the pad up or down will usually give us the 6 mm we need for the stripes.
It is important to be sure that the stripes do not interfere with the braking system, as that would greatly reduce the braking performance if they are placed between the pads and the rim. Any time adjustments are going to be made to any component on your bike, especially the braking system, you should always have the work performed by a professional, or at the very least, consult with a professional that is able to inspect your bike and provide you with input and advice with your safety as the top priority.
If you have any questions about installing the Nori Lights on your bike, please email me at info@NoriLights.com, and if possible, include some photos of your bike, or your brake pads and where they contact the rim. An even better suggestion would be to take your bike into your local bike shop where they can see your bike in person, and ask the technician there for help and/or advice. They are usually very much willing to help and are very knowledgeable.
If this video is helpful, or if you have any additional questions, again, please feel free to email me or post a comment below. I will be posting more Quick Tips covering various topics, so stay tuned for updates.
In the meantime, for additional information check our Frequently Asked Questions page in the Support section of our website.
No matter which shipping service you choose, all Nori Lights orders will typically ship out within one - three business days.
]]>I had the pleasure of taking photos and recording video of Alex tearing it up with his new Nori Lights. I have to say, it's amazing to see someone with his skill level and dedication, but Alex went above and beyond by ripping through the Ocean Beach skate park - at night!
I can't even describe how insanely dark it was and all I could see was his bikes wheels, with the Nori Lights beaming bright as he flew in, around, and out of the pool.
I had a blast shooting this video. A HUGE thank you goes out to Alex Cazares! We are honored for your enthusiasm and to have your support.
]]>Today and tomorrow (December 16-17), 50% of all sales on NoriLights.com will go directly to buying Christmas presents for homeless kids and adults.
I have also added an option for placing donations towards this cause on our site. From the donations received, 100% will go directly to buying gifts for those who could really use a reason to smile.
We have all been at a point in our lives where we just needed a break, or something to remind us that we can all make the world a little easier for each other, and that people do care. Help us make this holiday a little better for those that are struggling.
I will be posting videos of the gift giving on facebook, so that each of you can share in the joy of giving someone a reason to smile.
This is a great opportunity to order last minute Christmas gifts for family members and friends that you think would enjoy a set of Nori Lights, and also contribute to this effort in spreading some unexpected joy.
Last year, just after the holidays I saw the video below on youtube, which is what made me want to do this.
Thank you everybody.
Happy Holidays.

Be sure to check it out. Even if you have already installed your Nori Lights, it's worth taking a look, and it's just under 5 minutes long.
